This is a testimonial for Angelo Barbaruolo of ALB Contracting. Angelo designed and built a wall-to-wall set of book shelves/ entertainment center for our family room in 2006. From the first time we met, up through the time the project was complete, Angelo was professional and attentive. Before we even signed a contract with Angelo, he came to our home at least 3 times to show us different types of wood that he could use for the project. He was patient and resourceful when I wanted to see more options for types of materials that could be used. Angelo always keeps his appointments and is prompt, something rare in a contractor these days. He worked diligently during the weeks he spent in our home and always welcomed design collaboration from my husband and myself. He was a pleasure to have in the house and would often take the time out of his busy day to teach my young son how to use a tape measure. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better quality job when all was said and done. Angelo is meticulous about his work. He matched the stain on the new shelves exactly to the stain that was already in our family room, so that the new construction looks as though it was built as part of the original room. He spent a lot of time looking at photos with me so that he was sure we would get the look that we wanted. He was extremely creative in making a working space for our television and other electronics, while preserving the library-type look we wanted in the room.
